Overview
The QDA-SA adapter is designed for QNAP Enterprise ZFS NAS and allows the use of a SATA 6Gbps drive in a 3.5-inch SAS drive bay - providing the ability to expand storage capacity by using cost-effective SATA drives.
Note: QDA-SA adapters are sold in a pack of four. (Order number: QDA-SA-4PCS)

The installed SATA drive can share SAS dual-port advantages for higher reliability.
SAS dual-port advantage for fault tolerance
SAS features dual porting for redundancy, eliminating single points of failure and allowing for higher reliability and performance. By installing a SATA drive with the QDA-SA into a dual-controller Enterprise ZFS NAS, the SATA drive can share these SAS dual-port advantages to ensure a high-availability, fault tolerant enterprise storage environment.
Designed for Enterprise ZFS NAS
The QDA-SA is easily installed in the 3.5-inch disk tray of an Enterprise ZFS NAS (Disk tray model: SP-ES-TRAY-WOLOCK). (QES 2.0.0 (or later) is required for the NAS)
Note: QDA-SA does not support SSD TRIM and the drive S.M.A.R.T. feature is not supported on non-QES operating system.
