Juniper MX304-BASE는 2U 크기의 범용 라우팅 플랫폼으로, 0.3W/Gb의 전력 효율로 4.8Tbps의 처리량을 제공하며, 엣지, 메트로 이더넷 및 데이터 센터 상호 연결 구축에 최적화되어 있습니다. 6세대 프로그래밍 가능 Trio 칩셋을 탑재한 MX304는 각각 4x400G 또는 16x100G 포트를 조합하여 최대 3개의 라인 카드 MIC(LMIC)를 지원하며, 1/10/25/40/50/100/400GbE 연결을 유연하게 구성할 수 있습니다. 이 BASE 구성에는 라우팅 엔진 1개, 전원 공급 모듈 2개, 팬 트레이 3개가 포함됩니다. 두 번째 라우팅 엔진을 설치하면 1+1 제어 평면 및 전원 공급 이중화가 지원됩니다.
