Overview
The 630 Series delivers a maximum aggregate 3.9 Gbps data rate for higher throughput and faster speeds for fixed low power indoor use. With up to seven 160 MHz channels, the 630 Series maximizes performance for low-latency, bandwidth-hungry applications. Aruba’s ultra tri-band filtering eliminates interference between 5 GHz and 6 GHz and prevents gaps in channel coverage. To ensure high availability, the 630 Series includes dual port hitless failover for ethernet and power.
R7J27A provides these features:

Less interference and fewer coverage gaps
- Aruba 630 Series APs provide comprehensive tri-band coverage using three radios.
- Aruba’s unique ultra tri-band filtering eliminates interference among 5 GHz and 6 GHz radios and prevents gaps in channel coverage.
- Since only Wi-Fi 6E enabled devices can operate in the 6 GHz band, it is less congested with no interference from legacy devices.
Extends capabilities of Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) APs
- Aruba 630 Series APs are based on the 802.11ax standard so multi-user efficiency and security features are applied to Wi-Fi 6E.
- Unique Aruba capabilities include ClientMatch, Advanced Cellular Coexistence, and Intelligent Power Monitoring optimize user experience and energy use.
Ensures business continuity and high availability
- High availability with two HPE Smart Rate ethernet ports for 1-2.5 Gbps to offer true hitless failover for both data and power.
- Cloud, controller, or controllerless operation modes address all campus, branch and remote use cases.

Two integrated dual-band downtilt omni-directional antennas for 2x2 MIMO with peak antenna gain of 4.6dBi in 2.4GHz, 7.0dBi in 5GHz and 6.3dBi in 6GHz. Built-in antennas are optimized for horizontal ceiling mounted orientation of the AP. The downtilt angle for maximum gain is roughly 30 degrees. Combining the patterns of each of the antennas of the MIMO radios, the peak gain of the combined, average pattern is 2.9dBi in 2.4GHz, 4.9dBi in 5GHz and 4.3dBi in 6GHz. |
