Ein PCIe Gen 2 x2-Steckplatz ermöglicht die Installation einer QNAP-Erweiterungskarte, um Netzwerkkonnektivität, SSD-Caching-Funktionen oder drahtlose Konnektivität hinzuzufügen. Das TS-832PXU-RP unterstützt Dateisicherung und -synchronisierung, sicheren Snapshot-Schutz sowie Sicherungsdienste für Unternehmenskonten von Google Workspace und Microsoft 365 und bietet bei Bedarf eine sofortige Wiederherstellung. In Verbindung mit der Unterstützung für Cloud-Gateways war der Aufbau einer neuen Hybrid-Cloud-Speicherlösung nie einfacher. Das TS-832PXU-RP verfügt außerdem über eine redundante Stromversorgung, um einen unterbrechungsfreien Betrieb unternehmenskritischer Anwendungen zu gewährleisten
