Overview
Expand your network storage capacity to support backups, VLANs, file sharing and more with the QNAP TS-1273AU-RP-8G 12-Bay NAS Enclosure. This high-performance 2 RU rackmount network storage device includes 12 bays, supporting 3.5" or 2.5" SATA III drives that can be configured in RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50, 60, JBOD, or Single mode. Its dual 2.5G Ethernet ports deliver reliable file transfers with compatible devices, and they can be combined for 5 Gb/s speed using link aggregation. The TS-1273AU-RP-8G can achieve sequential read and write speeds of up to 542 MB/s and 591 MB/s respectively using solid-state drives in RAID 5 configuration and both Ethernet ports. This NAS also features a 2.2 GHz AMD V1500B quad-core processor with 8GB of memory to boost virtual machine performance. You can further customize performance by installing upgrade cards such as an entry-level graphics card, 10G Ethernet adapter, and M.2 SSD cache expansions into the two available PCIe 3.0 slots. The TS-1273AU-RP-8G has the QTS 4.4.2 operating system pre-installed and is compatible with Windows, Mac, Linux, and Unix systems.

Dual 2.5GbE Network Connections
The QNAP TS-1273AU-RP-8G includes two 2.5GbE RJ45 LAN ports that can help accelerate file sharing, virtual machine applications, or multimedia transmission. Up to 5 Gb/s speeds can be achieved using link aggregation.
PCIe Expansion Slots
The two PCIe Gen 3 slots allow you add expansions such as an entry level graphics card for hardware-accelerated video transcoding, 10G network adapters, and M.2 SSD cache storage adapters.
USB Ports
A 5 Gb/s USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A port is available alongside a 10 Gb/s USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port and two Type-A ports.
