Expand your small to medium sized business's network storage capacity for backups, team collaboration, and more with the TS-1232PXU-RP-4G 12-Bay NAS Enclosure from QNAP. Install up to twelve 2.5" / 3.5" SATA III drives into this 2 RU rackmount enclosure, which supports RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50, 60, JBOD, and Single configurations to balance between security and performance. It can reach read speeds of up to 1946 MB/s and 643 MB/s write speeds over the dual 10 Gigabit SFP+ fiber line ports in RAID 5 mode. The two 2.5G RJ45 Ethernet ports can achieve 579 MB/s and 489 MB/s read and write speeds, respectively. Additionally, Qtier technology continually optimizes your data storage between installed solid-state and hard drives for efficient performance.
Boost performance further by installing a multi-Gig network card, an M.2 SSD cache adapter, or other compatible expansion into the PCIe 2.0 x2 slot. Additional features include link aggregation failover and load balancing support and hardware-based AES 256-bit encryption. Connect compatible peripherals such as external storage drives to the USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports to transfer data at up to 5 Gb/s. This NAS enclosure uses the QTS 4.4.3 operating system to manage its configuration, data, and supported applications.

Qtier Technology
With Qtier, the TS-1232PXU-RP-4G uses auto tiering to continually optimize storage efficiency by automatically moving data between the installed solid-state drives and 2.5"/3.5" hard drives based on how frequently the files are accessed. The SSD extra over-provisioning feature allows you to allocate 1 to 60% of the reserved space to help avoid performance degradation and extend the lifespan of your SSD.
Hybrid Backup Sync
Hybrid Backup Sync (HBS) technology backs up and syncs your data to other NAS, servers, and cloud storage services for comprehensive disaster recovery planning.
Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 Backup
The TS-1232PXU-RP-4G includes QNAP Boxafe, allowing you to automatically back up files, emails, calendars and contacts from Google Workspace and Microsoft 365.
USB Connectivity
