Overview
Archive and stream your media collection to network connected devices with the SilentNAS HS-264-8G 2-Bay NAS Enclosure. Featuring a compact design that looks similar to a set top box, complete with an IR sensor for separately sold remote controls, the HS-264 can serve as the heart of your digital entertainment experience. Install up to two separately purchased 3.5" or 2.5" SATA III drives into the available bays and configure them for RAID 0, 1, JBOD, or Single mode to balance between performance and data redundancy. Using solid-state drives allows this fanless NAS to operate silently.
This enclosure integrates with your network through its dual 2.5G Ethernet ports. Once configured, you can back up and centrally store your digital videos, music, and photos on the HS-264, then use apps such as QuMagie, Video Station, Music Station, and Plex Media Server to stream content to laptops, smart TVs, streaming consoles, and other network devices. Or you can connect two 4K displays to the HDMI 2.0 ports alongside a mouse and keyboard to use the NAS like a PC for direct media viewing. The HS-264 uses the QTS 5.0.0 operating system, which allows you to quickly configure the NAS and run a variety of apps.
Performance
The HS-264 NAS includes a 2 GHz Intel Celeron N5105 quad-core processor and 8GB of memory to smoothly handle data transfers and media streaming.
2.5G Ethernet Connectivity
Enjoy high-speed file transfers, video streaming, and backups by connecting the dual 2.5G Ethernet ports to compatible devices. The two ports may be combined using link aggregation to support up to 5 Gb/s transfers.
4K Video Viewing
A 3840 x 2160 resolution, 60 Hz 4K display may be connected to each of the two HDMI 2.0 ports while the integrated Intel UHD graphics provides real-time H.264 transcoding.

Centrally store and access your photos, music, and videos using almost any network connected device.
