The Cisco C8500-12X4QC is a compact 1RU Catalyst 8500 Series edge platform with 12x 1/10GE SFP+ ports and 4x QSFP ports configurable as 40G, 100G, or 4x10G breakout (up to 24x 10GE in autonomous mode), delivering 240 Gbps maximum traffic aggregation via a dual-bay EP0/EP1 architecture powered by the third-generation QFP 3.0 ASIC. Includes 80 MB TCAM for high-scale ACL, QoS, and PBR operations. WAN MACsec line-rate on all ports, SyncE, and dual redundant PSUs. Runs IOS XE or IOS XE SD-WAN.
