Powered by the sixth-generation programmable Trio chipset, the MX304 supports up to three Line Card MICs (LMICs) with a mix of 4x400G or 16x100G ports each, and flexible 1/10/25/40/50/100/400GbE connectivity. This BASE configuration includes 1 Routing Engine, 2 power supply modules, and 3 fan trays. 1+1 control plane and power supply redundancy supported when a second Routing Engine is installed. Runs Junos OS with full IP, MPLS, and Ethernet OAM feature support.
